Dec 25, 2014 Cricket Batting Tips – Timing drills
by: Coach PybusHi Shivam,
a great drill for keeping the ball on the ground and timing in general is to do throw downs for front and back foot by hitting the ball into the ground when you play the stroke.Begin with under arm throws and then graduate to over arm throws with greater pace.Work on your drives form mid on to cover, do front foot first and then back foot.

This will train you to let the ball come right up under your eyes, it improves timing and will allow you to master this fundamental concept in batting.

Best wishes Coach
